Now the valves have cooled down, it’s time to reflect.

 

To be honest, the tour went better than I expected. I assembled a group of guitarists that have inspired me, been a positive force in the guitar world and are generally decent human beings so that we can play the music of Jeff Beck’s in an ego free zone & that’s exactly what happened. Not only did we have a great time playing together but I made some really good friends and have most certainly made some friends for life.

 

Each guitarist added their own unique voice to the tour and it kept it fresh and exciting. The feedback was fantastic from people that were there and I spoke to many people that were rally emotional about our tribute to the master, that really made it worth it, that’s all I/we wanted.

 

We always had packed rooms and the energy and atmosphere was so good each night.

 

We managed to raise over £600 for Wild Folly Rescue, the charity that Jeff Beck was a patron for. There’s more coming in, so hoping we can add a chunk more.

 

Thanks to everyone came to the show, it was really appreciated.

 

This isn’t the end, it will happen again. I feel it’s important to keep Jeff’s music alive and will be doing the odd show when I can.
